The Hillstone Halos was formed by Ole Petter Andreassen (Thulsa Doom, The Cumshots, Black Debbath, Young Fogertys) and Tommy Reite (The Cumshots, El Cuero, Warship) in 2003, to see how emo one could get. The debut album "Sunlit" (2005) indeed challenged its listeners in that departement and left lovers and haters in its wake. Anne Liv Tresselt (drums, vocals) left the band before the release, and (then unknown) superstar Elvira Nikolaisen joined the band for the gigs throughout 2005. Haavard Takle Ohr took on the drums and is still around. Original organ and harmonica player Inge Svege, recently moved back to his hometown of Flekkefjord to raise sheep, but will contribute to the new album that is currently being recorded for a 2007 release.
